Orthopedic APRN/PA Needed Near Gulf Coast Beaches

MCR Health is seeking an experienced Orthopedic APRN/PA to join our team for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity in Bradenton, Florida.

Located in Bradenton, Florida with offices in Manatee, Sarasota, Hardee and Desoto counties where you can soak up the sun and smile year-round. Orthopedic APRN/PAs at MCR provide quality medical care for the patients in our various service delivery areas. APRN/PA will see patients in our designated clinic. They specialize in diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of injuries, disorders and diseases of the body's musculoskeletal system.

• Consulting with patients and analyzing patient data to determine patient needs and treatment goals.
• Examining patients to diagnose bone, joint, ligament, or other musculoskeletal problems, including diseases, or injuries.
• Collaborating with other specialists, when necessary, to determine a course of treatment.
• Recording patient care by maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test results.
• Administering local anesthetics, when necessary.
• Performing non-invasive procedures such as casting and splinting limbs.
• Monitoring ongoing progress and health of patients, and changing treatment plans, as necessary.
• Providing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.
• Comfortable with an adolescent through adulthood patient base

Requirements:

• Current Florida License as either:
  • Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner OR
  • Physician Assistant
• Minimum of 3-4 years' clinical orthopedic experience required
• Current CPR certification
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
• Valid Florida Medical License and DEA
