JOB SUMMARY:

• Under the supervision of unit leadership and the clinical leadership of a clinical nurse, routinely supports the unit through the provision of basic patient care, clerical and reception services.

MINIMAL ACCEPTABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Licensure:

• None required.

Experience:

• No specific experience is required.  Lutheran Health Network Entities will provide formalized training classes; successful completion is required in order to continue employment.
• Additional orientation specific to unit responsibilities may also be provided.

Education:

• High school diploma or its equivalent (GED) preferred
• A minimum of three years of direct patient care experience in a healthcare facility will be accepted in lieu of education.

Registration/Certification:

• CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) Certification within 7 days of hire
