Sets up bed traction units or rigs special devices as required, and inspects and adjusts bandages and equipment. Being an Orthopedic Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent, completion of Orthopedic Technician training and certification program. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Newly developing multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center in camp Hill, PA, is seeking an experienced Radiology Technician (RT) specializing in Fluoroscopy The RT will coordinate and provide patient care, to adult patients, in accordance to established and accepted standards of care, policies and procedures, state and federal regulations, and accepted accreditation standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
The RT must have a minimum of two years’ experience in fluoroscopy and graduated from an accredited school. Certification is preferred. BLS required. The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently as well as function within a team; have the ability to assess patient needs, determine priorities; present good public relation skills; and possess the ability to handle stress.
Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technician school required and specified training in fluoroscopy. National Certification preferred.
WORK SCHEDULE
We offer Monday – Friday all day shift with no weekends, holidays, or on call.
