Orthopedic Technician applies and adjusts plaster casts and assembles and attaches orthopedic traction equipment and devices as directed by a physician. Sets up bed traction units or rigs special devices as required, and inspects and adjusts bandages and equipment. Being an Orthopedic Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent, completion of Orthopedic Technician training and certification program. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. We are seeking a bilingual medical assistant to join our team. We are a very busy orthopedic practice located in Hialeah, Florida. The ideal candidate must be fluent in in both English and Spanish languages and have experience working in a medical setting. Must have medical terminology knowledge and experience with electronic health records. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting physicians with patient care on a daily basis. This is a permanent, fulltime position. We are willing to train the right candidate. Benefits include health insurance, life insurance and 401k plan.
