Orthopedic Surgical Partners is a thriving private orthopedic group practice. As our practice continues to grow, we have new Front Office opportunities in our offices. We are looking for great candidates for our Willimantic location. Front Desk employees will mainly be stationed in one location, with the possibility of moving to others if coverage is needed.

Front Desk Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greets patients to the office, consistently demonstrating superior customer service
• Provides patients with required registration process. Helps patients as needed
• Accurately enters information into the EMR, completing all required steps for proper check-in and/or check-out of patients
• Confirms active insurance
• Collects co-pay or balance from patient, schedules follow-up appointments as necessary
• Completes daily reporting of reconciliation of charges, fee tickets and payment methods

Front Desk Qualifications:

High School or equivalent required

• Driver's license required to travel to other offices as needed
• 1-year recent experience in a physician’s office at the front desk
• Orthopedic experience preferred
• Medical terminology, communication skills and solid knowledge of computers, EMR required
• Must be friendly and professional, organized and patient-focused
• Knowledge of insurance plans and worker's comp
• Strong math skills
