POSITION PURPOSE:

Provide exceptional service to every person with whom there is interaction while assisting the providers with patient care, demonstrating commitment to patient satisfaction, professionalism and safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up the exam rooms and set up patients in the rooms; ensure timely patient flow and correctly enter into computer.
• Assist the doctors and physician assistants with aspirations and minor surgical procedures.
• Complete procedures as directed: setting up injections, changing dressings, removing stitches and staples.
• Enter charges for all procedures and supplies.
• Answer and respond to telephone calls regarding medications, medical questions and patient care from patients, pharmacies and other medical professionals
• Respond to walk-in patient requests for medications, medical questions and patient care
• ASSOCIATED RESPONSIBILITITES
• Restock work areas and laundry
• Handle receipt and faxing of information
• Maintain records and inventories; order medical supplies and drug samples
• Accept additional responsibilities when needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Ability to Relocate:
