Outbound Contact Center Manager manages outbound call center operations and agents that sell products or services to new and existing customers. Develops standards and monitors metrics and targets for call volume, sales, and timeliness. Being an Outbound Contact Center Manager implements sales and product training to ensure staff is updated on product and service offerings and upsell techniques. Sets and communicates operational policies and procedures. Additionally, Outbound Contact Center Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Outbound Contact Center Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Outbound Contact Center Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Responsibilities:

    • Provides information on customer service issues related to life and health insurance, annuity and investment products and transactions focusing on customer satisfaction, quality, and efficiency.
    • Communicates with customers regarding service requests or problems.
    • Documents, evaluates and resolves customer’s inquiries.
    • Works with other departments to complete customer requests and minimize escalations.
    • Represents our customer with professional pride to internal and external customers.
    • Consistently meets/exceeds set quality and productivity metrics.
    • Functions within a team based environment, and actively participates in achieving team goals.

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
    • Minimum 1 year of experience with call center or customer service experience/training.
    • Fundamental computer knowledge and maneuverability within window applications.
    • Basic understanding of Microsoft office suite, specifically Word and Excel.
    • General understanding of life and health insurance, annuity, and investment products is a plus.

    Behavioral and Leadership Competencies

    • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of customer and company information.
    • Ability to work independently and seek additional opportunities when able.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
