About The Role 

As a House Manager at Sandstone Care, you will be part of a team that supports young adult male identifying clients who are in outpatient treatment for substance use and mental health issues. You will provide a balance of structure and accountability while guiding them to develop the life skills for freedom, growth, and long-term recovery. You will also coordinate with other team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for the clients.

Your Impact

As a transitional living house manager at Sandstone Care, you will:

• Build rapport with clients and staff.
• You will foster positive and supportive relationships with the clients in the transitional living program, helping them achieve their recovery goals and develop life skills.
• You will also collaborate and exemplify partnership with your team, sharing feedback, ideas, and best practices.
• Uphold safety guidelines.
• You will ensure that the clients are accounted for and uphold safety guidelines,
• Transport clients in a 15-passenger van
• You will transport clients to and from appointments, meetings, and activities in a 15-passenger van, ensuring their punctuality and attendance.
• You will also maintain a clean driving record and a reliable vehicle, following the company’s policies and procedures.

• You are passionate about mental health and substance use and an advocate for recovery.

• You have a compassionate and empathetic approach to working with clients who are struggling with substance use and mental health issues.
• You enjoy working with clients.
• You have a positive and engaging attitude that motivates and inspires the clients in the transitional living program.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to build rapport and trust with the clients and their families.
• You are able to work collaboratively.
• You are a team player who values feedback, learning, and growth.
• You can coordinate and cooperate with the clinical staff and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for the clients.
• You have professional or significant personal experience in substance use disorders, experience in a recovery setting is strongly preferred.
• You have experience working in a recovery setting, such as a sober living home, a treatment center, or a peer support group. ( preferred but not required)
