Outpatient Care Supervisor oversees the daily activities and staff of an outpatient medical or specialty services facility or clinic. Coordinates clerical and administrative process and workflows needed to deliver care and services to patients. Being an Outpatient Care Supervisor may include customer service, scheduling, clinical coordination, third-party and records management. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Outpatient Care Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Outpatient Care Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Outpatient Care Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Education:
Degree from an accredited school of nursing,
Licenses/Certification:
Wyoming Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
BLS / CPR, PALS and ACLS certification required.
BLS/CPR is required within 30 days of hire date. ACLS and PALS must be obtained within ninety (90) days of employment if not currently certified.
Experience:
Two years of nursing experience in a hospital setting highly preferred.
1 to 2 years supervisory/leadership experience highly preferred.
