Outpatient Clinic Manager manages the day-to-day operations of an outpatient clinic/care center. Responsible for ensuring that high quality patient care is given and that there is economical and efficient performance. Being an Outpatient Clinic Manager monitors patient volumes, quality of care, and performance of staff to identify areas for improvement. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Outpatient Clinic Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Outpatient Clinic Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Outpatient Clinic Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time Case Manager position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
    • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 3 months separation from employment.

    ~ 40 Hours/week, Day shift ~

    Maine state certification as a MHRT/C* is required, Maine state licensure to practice as a LSW preferred

     Position Summary

    The Case Manager is responsible for the provision of case management services and achievement of positive intervention outcomes for assigned clients. He/She will ensure that client service delivery practices are ethical, culturally-competent, respectful of diversity and inclusion, welcoming and geared to customer service satisfaction. The Case Manager will be compliant with regulatory, accreditation, contract and best practice standards.

    Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

    1. Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a specialization in psychology, behavioral health, social work, special education, counseling, rehabilitation or closely related field is required.
    2. License/Certifications: MHRT/C required. Eligibility for LSW licensure preferred. Valid Driver’s license and appropriate level of automobile liability insurance.
    3. Experience: 1 year of experience in the same areas of specialization. 2 years of experience working with a broad spectrum of clients with mental health diagnoses is required. Prior experience with clinical methods and techniques used in supportive counseling as related to mental health and/or substance abuse issues is required.
    4. Excellent computer skills are required: Microsoft Word, Excel and use of electronic consumer record software
    5. Knowledge and commitment to abide by the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Social Workers
