ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Orders, or directs ordering of supplies and equipment, and maintains records on implants. Verifies specifications of supply requests. Setting par levels of inventory on hand. Prepares and issues purchase orders. Receives supplies and verifies packing slips with purchase orders. Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy. Compiles data from sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and writes, types, or enters information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records. Performs intensive research and investigation with all vendors regarding pricing of all supplies and equipment for the facility. Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock. Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies. Stocks and distributes supplies throughout the facility. Maintains and schedules UPS shipping. Investigates and resolves complaints or refers unusual problems to superior. Directs workers engaged in painting and performing structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of building. Assists in maintaining SOC (Statement of Conditions) for The Joint Commission. Inspects completed work for compliance to Ambulatory Surgery standards. In charge of all communications between OSE and Building maintenance regarding all work order specifications.
