Outpatient Surgery Director creates, directs, and implements the policies and procedures for the outpatient surgical function. Ensures a high level of quality care and services for patients by coordinating and communicating operational procedures to staff and physicians. Being an Outpatient Surgery Director monitors, evaluates, and modifies programs while adhering to company guidelines and standards. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Outpatient Surgery Director typically reports to top management. The Outpatient Surgery Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Outpatient Surgery Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Gulf Coast Surgery Center offers a good mix of surgical procedures. Case types include ENT, Opthamology, Plastics, Orthopedic, General, Urology and Podiatry. Regional anesthesia proficiency is preferred but we are willing to train. New graduates are welcome to apply.
CRNA compensation is $205K paid as 1099 for 46 weeks of anesthesia coverage annually with No Call, No Nights, No Weekends. Average monthly case volume between 3 providers is ~220. Schedule is M-F, with lots of early days! EAM covers Medical Malpractice and offers access to group health benefits and financial coaching.
