The Executive Nurse Director Outpatient Surgery Center will manage a multi-specialty Outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center located in Ohio. This high-performing Surgery Center is home to 20 physicians who are specialized in general surgery, orthopedic surgery, spine, and plastic surgery. The Executive Nurse Director will work for a highly accredited surgery center, including recognition by The Joint Commission. 

With 20 providers, this Ambulatory Surgery Center continues to grow. Reporting to the Regional Vice President of Operations, the Executive Nurse Director Outpatient Surgery Center will be supported by a Nurse Manager, specialized registered nurses, nurse practitioners, technicians, and ancillary staff. The Nurse Director Outpatient Surgery Center will be accountable for all day-to-day operations, managing the budget, enforcing regulatory compliance, updating policy procedures, creating strategic initiatives to grow the facility, assisting with physician recruitment, implementing quality performance improvement initiatives, and maintaining strong working relationships with vendors and other national Surgery Center Administrators. Additionally, the Executive RN  Director Outpatient Surgery Center will work closely with the Board Certified physicians with scheduling, credentialing, financial management, and acting as the liaison between the physicians and staff throughout the facility. 

Since the Executive Director Outpatient Surgery Center will be managing a growing, fast paced, multi-specialty same day surgery center, it is important that this individual leads with compassion and transparency to create a welcoming environment for both the patients and employees. The Executive Nurse Director Outpatient Surgery Center must be a Registered Nurse with their active RN license, and ideally previous experience working in an ambulatory surgery center, along with a business background.
