Outpatient Surgery Director creates, directs, and implements the policies and procedures for the outpatient surgical function. Ensures a high level of quality care and services for patients by coordinating and communicating operational procedures to staff and physicians. Being an Outpatient Surgery Director monitors, evaluates, and modifies programs while adhering to company guidelines and standards. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Outpatient Surgery Director typically reports to top management. The Outpatient Surgery Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Job Summary:
The Recovery Room RN is responsible for recovering patients after outpatient surgical procedures. The Recovery Room LPN can expect to recover stable patients with no sedation or up to Moderate Sedation until discharge from the facility.
Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30am - 4pm.

Essential Functions:
Qualifications
A. Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
B. Current BLS is required.
C. ACLS certification not required, but preferred.
D. Graduate of an accredited program in nursing.
E. Understanding and commitment to the mission, values, and philosophy of the organization.
F. Knowledge and skills to provide patient care appropriate to the scope of practice.
G. Ability to function effectively in stressful situations.
H. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
I. Ability and willingness to adjust schedule as needed to meet the needs of the Center.
J. Ability to work under supervision, as well as oversee/lead others.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to meet physical demands of:
· Standing for prolonged periods of time (at least 30 minutes)
· Lifting/moving heavy objects (up to 25 lbs)
· Frequent exposure to patient care areas.
