Outpatient Surgery Director creates, directs, and implements the policies and procedures for the outpatient surgical function. Ensures a high level of quality care and services for patients by coordinating and communicating operational procedures to staff and physicians. Being an Outpatient Surgery Director monitors, evaluates, and modifies programs while adhering to company guidelines and standards. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Outpatient Surgery Director typically reports to top management. The Outpatient Surgery Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Outpatient Surgery Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     We are inviting an energetic, self-motivated, and dedicated individual to join our team as a professional full time surgical dental assistant. The role of the surgical dental assistant is essential in delivering exceptional patient care and clinical outcomes to meet the needs of our patients and referring dentists. These needs include, but are not limited to, general dentoalveolar surgery, implant surgery and reconstructive surgery. The surgical assistant will support the surgeon and patients before, during, and after surgery, perform administrative tasks as needed, and maintain a safe, hygienic workplace.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • 1 Year Clinical Dental Experience
    • Current BLS Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
    • Word processing/computer skills

    Experience/Certification desired:

    • Implant surgery Experience
    • IV Sedation Experience
    • DAANCE Certification
    • Dental Assistant Certification
    • X-Ray Certification
    • Digital Workflow Experience

    Responsibilities:

    • Interacting with patients throughout their journey in a friendly, informative, and supportive manner
    • Take vital signs, performing point of care testing of blood glucose
    • Take CBCTs, clinical photography, and intraoral scans
    • Prepare, stock, and clean patient rooms
    • Appropriately prepare equipment and supplies necessary for procedures while anticipating the surgeons needs
    • Maintains an unobstructed operative field using surgical retractors, sponges, suction, and irrigating equipment
    • Appropriately use, handle, and process all equipment and instruments
    • Follow all OSHA, CDC and practice safety policies
    • Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and Privacy Policy
    • Other related duties as assigned.

    Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience and training.

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

    Pay: From $18.00 per hour
