Outpatient Surgery Director creates, directs, and implements the policies and procedures for the outpatient surgical function. Ensures a high level of quality care and services for patients by coordinating and communicating operational procedures to staff and physicians. Being an Outpatient Surgery Director monitors, evaluates, and modifies programs while adhering to company guidelines and standards. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Outpatient Surgery Director typically reports to top management. The Outpatient Surgery Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Outpatient Surgery Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Director of Outpatient Services to oversee multiple Outpatient Substance Abuse facilities in the Tampa Bay area.
Some of your key deliverables will be:
· Responsible for clinical excellence across OP facilities w/ dual SA & MH services
· Increase revenue by 30%
· Increase compliance by 40%
· Decrease patient discharge rates by 20%
· Successfully increase patient engagement by 20% county wide
· Provide clinical development and supervision
· Increase patient census
REQUIREMENTS:
· Licensed in the State of Florida as an LMHC or LCSW.
· Masters Degree in Social Work or Mental Health from an accredited college or university.
· 15 years' experience in Mental Health or Substance Abuse.
· 5 years' experience supervising clinical staff in a behavioral, mental health and/or substance abuse facility.
· Thorough knowledge of program management principles, clinical systems and operations, quality assurance, and regulatory/accreditation agency requirements.
· Experience that provides both the advanced technical knowledge and the leadership skills necessary to run a large, multi-faceted, health organization.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule including Saturday and Sunday
Ability to travel within Hillsborough County.
