PACS Administrator is responsible for the daily operations of the Picture Archiving and Communications Systems. Oversees equipment maintenance and systems testing, upgrading, and installing. Being a PACS Administrator acts as a liaison between the Radiology department and customers. Maintains positive vendor relationship. Additionally, PACS Administrator requires a bachelor's degree. Requires a certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The PACS Administrator supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a PACS Administrator typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. As Administrator in Training, you will assist the Executive
Director with day to day administration of facility. You will work on special
projects, assist ED to strive to achieve excellence in resident/patient care,
high employee retention and be an integral part of the local community we
serve.
This position will perform regular rounds to monitor
delivery of nursing care, operation of support departments, cleanliness and
appearance of the facility; morale of the staff; and ensures patient/resident
needs are being addressed. You will
assist in reviewing weekly and monthly financial reports and assist department
heads in reviewing spend down reports as well as other projects as assigned. This position will follow all state
guidelines for AIT program to fulfill requirements for licensure and reporting.
