Network Technician I

Able to install, maintain, update & repair computer hardware & software. Must have good communication, organizational & problem solving skills, ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. Associates degree preferred and/or experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assembles & configures network components & associated services.

Set up & maintains basic network operations, including assembly of network hardware, and provides assistance to the network administrator.

Performs network troubleshooting to isolate & diagnose common network problems.

Upgrades network hardware & components as required.

Installs/upgrades & configures network printing, directory structures, rights, security, software & files services.

Provides users with network technical support as needed.

Respond to the needs & questions of users concerning their access of network resources.

Establish network users, user environments, directories & security for networks being installed.

Installs & tests necessary software & hardware. Support complex PCs & LAN/WAN networks throughout the organization.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
