PC Support Manager manages a team that provides personal computer deployment and support, including setup, installation, repairs, upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting. Maintains the necessary hardware and software inventory and oversees the administration of required licenses. Being a PC Support Manager analyzes PC resource requirements and evaluates available vendors, products, and services that will meet the organization's needs. Implements training programs and develops documentation to support end-users. Additionally, PC Support Manager possesses experience in a LAN environment, a strong understanding of PC operating systems, security tools, and extensive knowledge of all commonly used PC software and products. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The PC Support Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. JOB LOCATION: St. Croix Casino & Hotel in Turtle Lake, WI. Will also provide support for Danbury Casino, Hertel Express Casino, and other St. Croix Chippewa entities as needed.
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the inventory control of all computers, parts and computer related consumables. Assists with installation, repair and maintenance of computers, laptops, software and IT related peripherals. Assist other IT staff with projects, including projects at other locations.
QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. Previous Casino experience is a benefit. A minimum of a two (2) year Associate Degree in Computer Science, information technology or related experience required. Must have experience with Microsoft and Google platforms. Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and be highly motivated. Must possess a valid driver’s license and able to meet our insurance criteria.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must have the ability to lift and carry computers and computer-related items. Must be able to work on ladders, lateral lifts, and in ceilings for wire pulling. Must be able to handle heights. Must have the ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintain and manage an accurate inventory control of all computers and peripherals. Have a basic understanding of all current corporate software packages. Perform maintenance, as scheduled, for computer systems and peripherals. Install and support all current corporate software packages. Assist IT personnel at other locations, as needed.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
