Description

 Roswell Park Care Network is looking to add a Full time IT Support Technician based out of our Orchard Park, NY location and travels between office locations within WNY.  

The IT Support Technician is responsible for the day-to-day support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the organization's internal network systems, workstations, telephony, and applications. Responsibilities also include answering employees' technical questions and providing general technical support. 

  Brief Description of Duties: 

• Responsible for the operations and support of installed applications, management of application upgrades and implementation support for new systems. 
•  Responsible for triage, prioritization and assignment of requests driving them to closure in a timely and accurate manner. 
• Coordinates resources and processes to ensure timely delivery of application enhancements and support. 
• Manages the change control process in accordance with change control policy and standards. 
• Responsible for managing their time to ensure appropriate coverage is allocated to all projects and assignments. 
•  Manages, supervises, trains and evaluates additional staff. 
• Interfaces in a professional manner with software vendors as necessary.   
• Professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in services and workshops.
• Provide telephone/remote and on-site troubleshooting, training and tech support to end users
• Perform software installs and updates- Assist providers with maintaining accurate EMR network documentation
• Set up and configure PCs, printers, peripherals and networking equipment
• Lead or assist with network deployment projects as identified and defined.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Technology degree
• 2 years of customer service experience in a technical capacity.
•  Windows 10 experience. 
• EMR Experience preferred

 Must be able to climb ladders to pull new LAN drops. 

Should have strong communication skills and be able to converse with and support those employees who are not technologically proficient
