Package Design Manager leads the planning, design, and creation of packaging artwork for an organization. Utilizes graphic arts design techniques and tools to create compelling package designs that reflect the organization's branding and marketing objectives. Being a Package Design Manager incorporates industry practices and any regulatory requirements into package designs. Ensures that design and branding standards are utilized consistently for all packaging. Additionally, Package Design Manager collaborates with production, marketing, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver designs that meet all requirements and adhere to the budget. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in industrial design, art, graphic design or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Package Design Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Package Design Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     THE WORK:

    • Build cool projects
    • All daily job duties including plant installation, general plant care, mulching, and installing materials
    • Clean trucks and equipment
    • Maintain clean work site
    • Quality installation & maintenance techniques
    • Maintain, clean trucks & equipment
    • Manage tools
    • Maintain truck & equipment
    • Can oversee load & unload of trucks
    • Ensures all equipment & materials are loaded
    • LMN, job reporting, clock in and out
    • Teach others on crew
    • Coordinate with subcontractors
    • Develop project plan, logistics, goals
    • Can layout, install from plans independently
    • Inspect job sites thoroughly
    • Manage crew (clock ins/outs, discipline training, safety, etc.)
    • Trains & leads other team members
    • Active role in company decisions
    • Evaluations for crew members with supervisor
    • Can stage materials
    • Knows proper prep and bases for projects
    • Installs pavers, stone, walls, steps, boulders, stepper, curbing properly
    • Can set grades
    • Aids crew in productivity & efficiency
