Package Design Manager leads the planning, design, and creation of packaging artwork for an organization. Utilizes graphic arts design techniques and tools to create compelling package designs that reflect the organization's branding and marketing objectives. Being a Package Design Manager incorporates industry practices and any regulatory requirements into package designs. Ensures that design and branding standards are utilized consistently for all packaging. Additionally, Package Design Manager collaborates with production, marketing, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver designs that meet all requirements and adhere to the budget. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in industrial design, art, graphic design or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Package Design Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Job Description
The Controls Design will be responsible for designing as well as leading a team of controls designers with everyday activities. This position will require someone with excellent interpersonal skills.
Job Functions
· Produce control drawings
· Lead a team of control designers
· Control and Manage print releases to the job floor
· Assign work assignments to team members
· Report on progress of jobs / track job hours
· Adhere to customer specifications and company best practices
· Ensures correctness in controls designs and bills of material
· Handle Day to Day operations of Controls design department
· Responsible for releasing material to purchase for purchase components
· Responsible for proving spare parts lists to customer
REQUIREMENTS:
· High Energy, motivated, detail oriented
· 10 years’ experience with Automation Controls products, including Allen Bradley and Siemens.
· Familiar with industry safety and electrical codes
· Expert level AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical
· Eplan experience a plus
· 5-10 leadership experience
· Willingness to travel at minimal amount
