We are looking for an eager, dynamic individual to join our team in the position of Quality and Packaging Engineer.

As Quality and Packaging Engineer at eBottles, you will work closely with our Director of Packaging and Quality Engineering to help with the variety of responsibilities within the department.

Skills/Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, Materials Engineering, or Chemical Engineering (Packaging Engineering preferred).
• 1 or more years of packaging experience in a CPG, Food, Cosmetic, or other consumer-focused industry.
• Working knowledge of a wide variety of packaging materials.
• Experience in reviewing 2D and 3D technical drawings for fit/function, and validating prototype and production components (Fusion 360 experience preferred).

The ideal candidate will also have strong written and oral communication skills, technical aptitude, the ability to effectively explain complex scientific concepts to non-experts, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Duties

• Support packaging development from ideation to product launch.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects, make risk-based decisions in a fast-paced environment under the Director of Packaging and Quality Engineering.
• Provide weekly updates in project meetings on matter such as sample testing, key milestones, risks, and interdependences.
• Collaborate with multiple departments including Sales, Marketing, and Account Management to streamline product launches and manage quality cases.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure appropriate quality standards are being maintained.
• Provide feedback on design feasibility through testing, including risks and mitigation plan(s).
• Partake in the creation, documentation, and execution of test procedures.
• Report and file test results.
• Manage samples inventory and distribution.
• Create and document product drawings.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality and Packaging Engineering.
