Position Title: Senior Packaging Development Engineer
Location: Plano, TX
Job Type : On-site, Full time(6 months and there is a possibility of extension)
Job Description:
Update our flexible film material specifications:
Current material specifications have different combinations of layer thicknesses and compositions: break each combination up in the system so that there is only one combination of film layers being referenced for component specifications.
Estimated to be ~130 hours of work.
 
Plan and lead line trials and qualification of flexible films for snacks – mainly on VFFS bagmakers. Be able to troubleshooting film and machine interactions issues. Trials will be either qualifying current film specifications with new suppliers,  qualifying alternative films with current suppliers; or qualifying new films for new products. packaging experience on flexible films and VFFS equipment, Experienced in planning, leading and resolving issues at flexible film line trials. Will plan and write trial and qualification protocols, collect data and issue trial/qualification reports.


Candidate Requirements
• Graduate in Packaging or related engineering.
• 10 years minimum experience in Packaging R&D for CPG, FMCG , Food & Beverage or related industries
• Good communication skills both oral and written
