Barrett Petfood Innovations is a family owned and operated premium pet food manufacturer that is growing quickly! We are adding a Packaging Lead positions in our Little Falls location. This position is charged with leading and operating a packaging line in the packaging area of the plant. We take pride in the quality of our products and our employees. Job Duties

• Training new employees on process procedures of packaging and cleaning procedures
• Communicating with team daily goals and responsibilities
• Making sure the packaging staff have sufficient supplies and job materials
• Monitor and maximize daily packaging production output
• Assist employees with using computers/ receiving or turning in paperwork
• Jump on the lines to assist with achieving goals
• Stacking bags and boxes from 1oz to 40lbs on pallets
• Fill boxes with bags and run through boxer
• load bags in machine
• Set up and seal bags
• Perform weight and metal detection tests
• Working with a team to ensure product is packaged in an efficient, timely, quality manner
• Setting up and cleaning up of packaging area between packaging productions
• Work with the team to Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Checking lot codes and using metal detection to ensure product quality standards are met

Job Requirements

• Must have manufacturing/packaging experience
• Must have leadership abilities and experience
• Intermediate Computer skills
• Communication skills
• Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for long periods of time
• at least 1 year of Machine operating experience is preferred

Hours

• 2nd Shift 1:15pm - 9:45 pm
• 3rd Shift 9:15pm - 5:45am

Compensation:

 $16.75 -$17.25 per hour Plus packaging bonuses!
