Packaging Machine Operator jobs in Colorado Springs, CO
Packaging Machine Operator sets up and operates a packaging machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Fills, secures, and labels containers according to company and/or customer specifications. Being a Packaging Machine Operator verifies goods packaged against package invoices. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. Additionally, Packaging Machine Operator adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Documents inventory number and weight, and organizes packages. May make minor repairs to packaging equipment as needed. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Packaging Machine Operator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Available Work Hours : (Your Choice) 1st shift (6 : 00am 2 : 30pm), Mon - Fri* 2nd shift (2 : 00pm 10 : 30pm), Mon - Fri* 3rd shift (10 : 15pm 6 : 45am), Sun - Thurs*Pay Rates 1st Shift : $17.
00 / hour* 2nd Shift : $17.85 / hour* 3rd Shift : $18.70 / hour*This is what you’ll be doing : Packaging Operators* General labels, seals, packages, boxes and palletizes, sterile and / or nonsterile medical products using various equipment* Use software to retrieve and print proper paperwork as needed* Inventory and pulling of material from flow racks and bin locations (as needed) * Machine Operators* Operate CNC Machines (training provided)* Calibrate the machine using calipers (will train)* Maintain work area by managing fallout parts* Monitor machine rejects to assure that parts are being sorted and ran daily*Requirements : High School Diploma or GED equivalent* ENTRY LEVEL opportunities* Growth within the company!Apply to be a Machine or Packaging Operator today!
