Job Summary:

Driving Results and Great Leadership are key factors of the Graphics Managerial position. As an Effective Communicator who Ensures Accountability, you will be responsible for ensuring an efficient and reliable process in all matters pertaining to Graphics & Plates in support of the customer service department.

Having our customer’s artwork transformed from a proof into a usable plate for production, with professional oversight and accountability. Working together with the customer service team to take the customer provided artwork and document the CMYK, aligning the customer’s vision with the company’s ability to deliver.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the Graphic coordinator’s position is optimized and is in line with company standards.
• Receive approved artwork proof from Graphics Coordinator.
• Ensure artwork is compatible with current machine specifications.
• Communicate with outside vendors to create plates per approved proof.
• Receive plates from outside vendor & ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Enter plate number into company system, with CMYK codes and specific color ratios.
• Communicate with stakeholders with updates or potential issues.
• File plates for later use for customer repeat orders.
• Oversee and lead the pre-press process ensuring smooth and efficient production.
• Ensure that all color certs, custom color certs and HPs are updated and accessible to all relevant team members including the plant.
• Ensure that samples held reflect the most recent updated color standards and old ones get discarded.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor within the scope of duties.

Job Qualifications:

• Strong written, verbal, email, and telephone communication skills
• Background in graphics and graphic arts
• Be able to delegate effectively with good leadership skills.
• Self-motivated, highly organized effective communicator with strong follow-up skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite, manufacturing software and graphics software programs
• Deep understanding of machinery used along with specifications and limitations.
