Packaging Manager manages and oversees the packaging staff on designated shift to achieve operational objectives. Observes, analyzes, and researches packaging line operation to develop and implement scientific and efficient process. Being a Packaging Manager implements quality control check to ensure the packaging meets environment, health, and safety regulations. We are rapidly expanding and are looking for packaging tech to join our team. This is a full-time position located in Nevada City, CA. The position operates on a 4 day per week 8.5 hour per day schedule. This is an entry level position with ability to advance into other roles within the company. To be successful with this position you must be able to work efficiently, accurately and within a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met
- Accurately packaging and labeling cannabis products for retail sale
- Upholding Emerald Bay quality standards on every product
- Flexibility needed in daily activities such as helping other departments and frequent rotation through product types
- Follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized environment
Requirements:
