This is a hybrid role location at our Corporate office in Louisville, KY.
The Manager of Planning Analytics will support the Planning and Purchasing teams. The Analytics Manager will work closely with leaders across Sales, Sales Operations, Planning and Purchasing to support and implement high-quality, data-driven tools that create efficiencies across Premier’s Supply Chain. They will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for the analytics team to follow. The Analytics Team will use all of Premier’s tools (Excel, Jasper, Power BI) and analytical techniques to interpret key findings from company data and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes including report outs on all Planning and Purchasing’s key metrics. This role is considered a leadership role in the organization reporting to the Director of Material Planning.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Essential Functions
• Lead cross-functional projects, data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities for the Planning and Purchasing team.
• Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation files, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions and company goals.
• Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics. • Recruit, train, develop and supervise analyst-level employees.
• Ensure accuracy of data and timeliness of deliverables.
• Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, modeling, visualization, and communication deliverables.
• Oversee the new report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
• Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.
• Conduit of communication between the Report Development Team (BI Team) and the Planning and Purchasing Teams (Master Data file updates, reporting updates, Power BI questions).
• Manage and control all of Premier’s Supply Chain master data including the MDS and the planner working file.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Leadership and mentoring for all members of the team.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Analytics preferred. MBA a plus. (May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education)

• 2-5 years of experience in supply chain purchasing, planning or analytics managing a team.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills required.
• Experienced with data visualization tools such as Power BI preferred.

• Experience with inventory management, demand forecasting methodologies and ERP/MRP systems required.
• Demonstrate ability to create and lead high performing teams to deliver team goals and results.
• Ability to communicate clearly, transparently, concisely, and on a timely basis with leadership.
• Comfortable with dealing with conflict and issue resolution.
• Strong organizational, planning, time management and follow-through skills with the ability to prioritize multiple and competing projects.
