Packaging Manager manages and oversees the packaging staff on designated shift to achieve operational objectives. Observes, analyzes, and researches packaging line operation to develop and implement scientific and efficient process. Being a Packaging Manager implements quality control check to ensure the packaging meets environment, health, and safety regulations. Provides staff with directions on materials and equipment for each package. Additionally, Packaging Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Packaging Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Account Managers are primarily responsible for developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients while being a liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams. This position will manage and develop client accounts to initiate favorable relationships with clients. Familiarity with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures is pertinent. Account managers will assist with client complaints, collecting and analyzing data, as they work toward improving the overall customer experience.
    Essential Functions:
    • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term, trusted relationships with key accounts.
    • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
    • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal teams.
    • Forecast, track, maintain, and improve accounts financial and supply chain metrics. (Including but not limited to inventory levels, trading terms, incentive schemes, lead times, risk management, etc...)
    • Enhance department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
    • Process new orders in Manufacturing ERP system.
    • Monitor and analyze customer’s usage of product.
    • Follow up on orders to ensure they are processed, shipped, and delivered as requested by customer.
    • Responsible for working with the sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing current clients.

    Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
    Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment, with occasional time spent on the manufacturing floor. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
    Physical Demands: The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity. Sit for extended periods of time. Lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies. Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, fingers, with the ability to feel and reach with hands and arms.
    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary, Monday through Friday. Occasional evenings and weekend work will be required as job duties demand.
    Travel: Required once a month. If the selected candidate is outside of Bloomington, IL area, it will be required to be on site for a period of 2 months for training purposes.
    Required Education and Experience:
    • Proven account management or other relevant experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study and at least 10 years of experience in the field or in a related field.
    • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C level.
    • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
    • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
    • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
    • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
    • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and time and project management skill. Always looking to improve inefficient processes.
    • Expert in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. Preferably Microsoft AX and Power BI.
