Being a Packaging Manager implements quality control check to ensure the packaging meets environment, health, and safety regulations. Provides staff with directions on materials and equipment for each package. Additionally, Packaging Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Packaging Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Hours: 3:00pm – 3:30pm Start until 12:30am – 1:00am approx.
Monday thru Fridays with Frequent Saturday work
Managing: 63 associates running 4 ham packaging lines and 3 frank packaging lines
Directs and coordinates the activities of the plant to include meat manufacturing, sanitation and distribution (but not limited to) by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
