The royal hand tattoo is a true art studio, very layed back intimate studio, we Prefer appointments we dont like too many people in the studio at one time.

but we do allow a 4 hour period where we have walk ins. its quality over quantity for us. this is our first year in Sherwood AR, if u want to join a positive team we welcome you home!

Job Overview :

We are seeking a creative and skilled piercer or Tattoo Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio showcasing a range of styles and techniques, a passion for art and design, and excellent customer service skills.

You will be responsible for creating memorable and high-quality tattoos or piercings, maintaining strict hygiene standards, and providing a welcoming and professional experience for all clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Consult with clients to understand their desires and expectations for their tattoos

or piercings

• Design original and personalized tattoos or piercings, modify existing designs to meet client needs.
• Maintain a professional and clean workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Sterilize equipment before and after each use and ensure that all needles and supplies are disposed of properly.
• Apply tattoos or piercings on clients using professional tattooing devices and techniques.
• Provide clients with aftercare instructions and follow-up on their healing process.
• Build a strong client base through excellent service and word-of-mouth referrals.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in tattooing.
• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the studio, including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling payments.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist / Body piercer with a portfolio of completed works.
• Strong understanding of color theory, artistic design, and shading.
• Knowledge of various tattooing styles and the ability to execute them with expertise.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Keen attention to detail and a steady hand.
• Licensed to practice as a Tattoo Artist or Body piercing in the state of Arkansas
• Completion of a professional tattoo / piercing apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• A commitment to adhering to the highest standards of safety and hygiene.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with piercing and or custom tattoo work and cover-ups.
• Proficiency in drawing and digital design software. (procreate)
• Active involvement in the tattoo / piercing community with participation in conventions, forums, or publications.
