Performs basic quality control checks including measuring, weighing, strength testing, package counts, and evaluating product or package appearance. Being a Packer/Packager, Hand folds and tapes boxes, applies labels, and stacks boxes on pallets according to direction. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Packer/Packager, Hand typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Packer/Packager, Hand possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the rigging and de-rigging of equipment on job sites
- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and tankers
- Build and maintain structures and equipment as directed
- Perform horizontal drilling and digging as required
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Assist with the transportation of materials and equipment to and from job sites
- Support the team in various tasks as needed
Skills:
- Experience operating heavy equipment, such as cranes, forklifts, and tankers
- Proficient in rigging and de-rigging procedures
- Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
