Qualifications and Education Requirements- Must have at least 2 years industrial coatings experience using paint guns and conventional paint pots.
- Must be able to receive instructions regarding painting.
- Must have previous blasting experience.
- Blasters required ability to handle 120 PSI and work in a hot environment.
- Must be able to shovel load 50 to 75 lbs of metal shot into the shot blaster.
- 8 hours on feet, stooping, standing, climbing ladders and twisting.
- Must be able to paint prep, removing debris (oil, grit, etc.) from surfaces..
- Experience with conventional and airless paint sprayers .
- Must have a solid understanding of mixing ratios.
- Must be able to use a wet mill gauge and able to spray a wide variety of coatings, (inorganic zinc, epoxy, urethanes ad polyurethanes).
- Must be able to clean own pot, mix and measure chemicals according to specifications.
- Must be able to log coating reports.
- Willing to learn and cross train.
- Simple math aptitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to effectively communicate and direct others.
- Must be a US. Citizen
- Must be 18 years of age.
