About the Role:

A day in the life: Our Industrial Blast Plant is looking for a skilled technician to join our Industrial Painting department or Industrial Blasting department. These roles require meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

On a given day, our Industrial Painters or Industrial Blasters will spend their time:

• Prepare the metal components by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying appropriate primers to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.
• Our painters apply a wide range of coatings, including paints, enamels, epoxies, and sealants, using various methods such as spray, brush, and roller to achieve desired finishes and protective properties.
• For the purpose of achieving certain surface profiles, our blasters will finish the blasting of metal components in our blasting both. This will allow our painters to cover the metal properly.
• Collaborate with quality control personnel to ensure that blasted surfaces are properly prepared to receive coatings, providing a strong foundation for finish quality and durability. Make any necessary touch-ups or corrections as needed.
• Adhere to company work safety policies.
• Other miscellaneous duties, as assigned

Schedule & Travel:

Our Industrial Blast plant is offering full-time positions in both painting and blasting. This department offers a variety of schedules with overtime opportunities.

The qualified candidate we seek is an Industrial Painter or Blaster with these QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet shifting deadlines
• Ability to problem-solve
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and extremely strenuous environment.
• The work is indoors and is extremely loud and dusty.
• Ability to lift < 50 pounds repeatedly, walk and stand for long periods of time (consistently for 4 hours), and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse conditions.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
• Good manual dexterity and multi-coordination.
• Must be able to work for at least 3 hours consistently without a break.
• Regularly works in adverse conditions, including but not limited to confined spaces, high noise levels, moderate to high heat levels, multiple PPE requirements, and height.
