NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE*: M-F 5:30am-2:30pm w/Lunch 11:30am-12pm

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Clean/ Paint Associate is responsible for the cleaning and painting of equipment that meets company defined quality standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work effectively to ensure jobs meet production schedule
- Complete painting stages of build as required
- Maintain drawing routing procedures to ensure drawings/job order paperwork gets to the next department
- Work with Assembly Lead to prioritize paint process to meet production schedule
- Maintain paint booth and paint equipment (e.g., spray guns) in good working condition
- Legibly tag items once painted to help identify parts
- Ensure quality documentation is being processed per company procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Work with other departments to ensure on time delivery and product quality
- Responsible for clocking in and out of appropriate work orders
- Ensure safe working environment and procedures are followed
- Work effectively with other departments to correct mistakes and minimize rework
- Maintain paint inventory and supplies
- Monitor waste barrel and notify Safety when ready for pickup and disposal
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain an organized and clean work area (daily)
- Other duties as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS
ENVIRONMENT:
- Occasional exposure to a variety of extreme conditions such as working in high and low temperatures
- The noise level in the production facilities and at job sites can vary
- Required to work around/near industrial metal equipment including machinery such as plasma table, hand plasma cutters, MIG welders, TIG welders, etc.
- Work site is an industrial facility with a dusty atmosphere (i.e. stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminum metal dust
- Subject to paint fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases or other atmospheric conditions
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL:
- Regularly required to stand for long periods of time
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, kneeling…
- Frequent bending and stooping
- Frequently (several times per day) lift or move objects up to 25 lbs., regularly (daily) lift or move objects up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift or move objects up to 75 lbs.
- Occasional use of stairs to collaborate with engineering/production (up to but not limited to 5 times a day)
- Visual acuity required to ensure quality of work
EQUIPMENT OPERATED:
- May be required to use equipment associated with sheet metal fabrication including, but not limited to:
- Milling machines and lathes
- Air and/or electric grinders
- Dyna-files
- Horizontal and vertical saws
- Brake press
- Drill press
- Belt sander
- Air compressors
- Operation of forklifts and overhead cranes
- Use of barcode scanners to accurately track time spent on jobs
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
