Description
PHYSICAL LOCATION:
All buildings and grounds which comprise Moody Neuro complex.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Painter/Laborer will perform duties at Moody Neuro and Tideway. These duties will include painting and other general maintenance duties as assigned. The Painter/Laborer will uphold the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization while maintaining strict confidentiality of personnel and trainee/client data and information in the performance of assigned duties.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond promptly to all physical plant requests submitted via work order system, email, or phone
- Effectively complete work order requests in a timely fashion and document in work order system.
- Perform opening and closing duties, as assigned
- Daily inspection of residential areas for needed repairs
- Maintain safety in work areas for clients and personnel
- Maintain workshop and supply rooms in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Maintain facility grounds (including but not limited to: daily litter pickup, emptying cigarette butts from courtyard, removal of dead foliage).
- Perform minor sheetrock repair, site cleaning, painting, and pressure washing, as needed.
- Organize and move furniture and fixtures for office moves as required.
- Steam-clean or shampoo carpets. Polish floors, as needed.
- Discharge duties in accordance with Moody Neuro organizational policy, CARF and other accrediting bodies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to Paint
- Ability to remove debris from the work area
- Ability to follow directions and process written information
- Skilled in use of
sheetrock, painting, and power tools
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed and tolerate extreme temperatures, noises and fumes.
- Ability to organize and prioritize time.
- Ability to recognize needs of the facility and to perform job tasks with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to perform job tasks within the organization's procedural structure including the timely completion of reports and the utilization of checklists.
- Current Texas Drivers License.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Prefer at least two years of general labor experience; skilled in use of sheetrock, painting and power tools.
