Painter jobs in Idaho Falls, ID

Looking for painters/general construction labor in the Blackfoot, surrounding areas. Two shifts available. With entry level pay starting at 14 hr. or DOE. Background checks are required because of the work we do in medical facility's. Not all offences disqualify you. We do have dress codes and hygiene requirements as well.

We are actively hiring for these positions and need people to start as quickly as possible.

* Day production crew (8:00am-as needed) This is the fast pace crew working on bigger painting projects and construction services. 2 positions available

* Swing shift maintenance crew (Full Time) (3:00pm to 11:00pm) Mon-Friday. This is a facility maintenance crew, completing painting maintenance and other general maintenance services /cleaning assignments. 1 to 2 positions available

* Swing shift maintenance crew (Part-Time) (500pm to 11:00pm) Mon-Friday. This is a part time shift that works on the swing shift maintenance crew. Hour can be flexible to fit your needs. 1 to 2 positions available

Full time: 32 to 40 hours a week. Experience is a plus but will train the right person. All tools needed will be provided. Transportation is required to and from the shop in Blackfoot. We do work in the Idaho Falls, Blackfoot and Pocatello areas. Transport from Blackfoot to job site is provided. Must be willing to work some night/swing shifts during the winter. Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds or more.

Duties Include, but not limited to:

• Prepping areas for painting
• Sanding/Scraping
• Cleaning areas and supplies
• General painting duties
• Drywall Repair/Taping
• Texturing
• General Labor
• General construction work
• Adhere to all safety guidelines set forth by the company
• Must be able to bend, squat, twist, crouch, stoop frequently throughout the day
• Must be comfortable working on ladders and step stools

Good job to learn a trade. We have been in business for 13 years and paint everything from commercial building maintenance, medical maintenance, to new construction. We have consistent work through the winter months and are hiring immediately. These positions are entry level with the opportunity for advancement and raises at your six month mark and at one year. Raises done every year after that or upon promotion.

(DOE Pay) If you have experience and are looking for a higher pay to start. We do a 2 to 3 week trial period where you must prove your skills to get that higher pay.
