Global Response Team is seeking experienced commercial painters to perform a wide variety of painting and wallcovering tasks.
Global Response Team is the industry leader in commercial restoration and construction services. We are seeking an experienced professional with a minimum of 3 years in the painting and construction industry. This position will be located in Kansas City, KS and work throughout the Kansas City metro area. Other than necessary training and meetings with management, painters are expected to arrive on-time to the jobsite or assigned location daily. Some travel may be required depending on each project's needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:- Knowledge and ability to perform all types and styles of commercial painting
- Extensive familiarity of commercial painting practices, tools, applications and more
- Spraying, rolling, brush-applied and more painting applications
- Vinyl wall covering removal and installation
- Floor protection, wall containments, cabinet protection and more masking tasks
- Necessary daily and final cleaning
- Project documentation such as daily progress photos and written updates
- Experience with other construction tasks and trades (preferred)
- Experience with performing plan and/or site measurement takeoffs
Qualifications:- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a painter / commercial painter.
- Preference to those already in the restoration and/or construction industry.
- Ability to communicate effectively through all forms of communication.
- Astute attention to detail and and quality control
Applicants must be able to pass a background check and be legal to work in the United States.
