Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Job: - This position requires the knowledge of using different types of paint application equipment to include gravity feed, premix, 2KS, Pressure Pot HVLP.
- Working knowledge of the following: measuring equipment; wet MIL thickness gauges, dry MIL thickness gauges, zahn cups, urethanes and epoxies.
- Works from verbal direction and written specifications. Ability to complete written production records and read blueprints.
- Masks portions of components that do not require paint such as bearings, bushings, rub strips, etc.
- Performs daily cleaning and maintenance activities on painting equipment.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb ladders or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and or crawl.
- The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
- While painting will be working in a heated environment.
Education and Experience- HS diploma or GED required.
- Must have one year industrial paint experience.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with a high-pressure washer is a plus.
