Position Available: Aircraft Painter

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for painting and finishing aircraft surfaces, ensuring a high-quality and aesthetically pleasing appearance. This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced painting techniques and contribute to the visual appeal of aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, masking, and priming as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other coatings to aircraft surfaces using spray guns, brushes, or rollers.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades and finishes, following specifications and color codes.
- Perform inspections and quality checks to ensure paint application meets industry standards and customer requirements.
- Repair and touch up paint defects, such as runs, sags, and orange peel, to achieve a flawless finish.
- Maintain paint equipment and supplies, including cleaning spray guns, filters, and paint booths, to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to safety regulations and environmental guidelines when handling and disposing of paint materials and chemicals.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to coordinate painting activities and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Aircraft Painter or related field.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment used in aircraft painting.
- Proficiency in mixing and matching paint colors and finishes.
- Attention to detail and ability to achieve high-quality paint finishes.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay: $28.00 - $29.00 per hour
