Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces. You will work on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Duties:
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Prime surfaces before painting
- Mix paints and match colors to achieve desired results
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Use power tools and equipment such as airless paint sprayers
- Follow safety guidelines and wear protective gear when necessary
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Assist with construction estimating and blueprint reading when required

Skills:
- Proficient in various painting techniques
- Strong knowledge of color theory and the ability to match colors accurately
- Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in painting
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in workmanship
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to labor laws.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
