Warehouse & Freezer Warehouse Worker

Description: This position involves picking food to send to our distributions as well as loading and unloading freight from trailers, loads and unloads semitrailers, organizes receiving, shipping, and storage of all food and dry goods received from donors. Counts product accurately and efficiently, and prepares trailer for shipping. Ensures that food/dry goods are located and distributed to proper warehouse and trailer areas in an effective, fast and efficient manner ensuing proper storage. Maintains cleanliness and safety of facilities and grounds. Will work in freezer, cooler and dry warehouse. Prior forklift experience required.

Requirements: Qualified candidates must be dependable, have strong attention to detail, able to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs repeatedly, able to withstand working in cold freezer, and be a team player. Prior warehouse, pallet jack & forklift experience is also required for this position. Basic math skills a must including addition, subtraction, division, and weight and temperature measurements. We are a Christian faith based ministry, Christian character must be prevalent in the life of all employees.

Hours: Monday - Friday morning until afternoon or until work is complete; start time varies depending upon load with occasional Saturday shifts

Pay: Competitive hourly wage based on experience
