Reports to:  Nutrition & Basic Needs Coordinator

• Deliver food pantry orders to homebound residents in accordance with established routes and guidelines. 
• Ensure the van is always clean, fueled, and ready for use.
• Arrange for van repairs as needed with the supervisor. 
• Complete daily vehicle reports and keep them updated per CAPPs policies.
• Assists in donation pick and drop off.
• Provide support to food pantry staff with unloading and storing commodities.
• Support restocking of shelves, inventory, and food packing and distribution. utr
• Clean/Sanitize work surfaces, fridges, freezers, etc., according to health standards. 
• Assist in emergency pickups and drop-offs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Workweek: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break, 37.5 hours per week, biweekly payroll

Requirements

Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize duties, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to drive department vehicles (15-passenger van, food truck, refrigeration truck) 
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Respond to inquiries and complaints effectively and discreetly.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Have and maintain a driver’s license. 
• BCI-Background Criminal Check required.
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
