Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of matters, including case management, document review and preparation
- Conduct legal research using resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Draft and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Maintain document management systems and organize case files
- Schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
- Assist in the preparation of trial exhibits and presentations
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Drafting, filing and managing various business entity documents for corporations, LLCs and partnerships with State agencies.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of legal case management processes and procedures
- Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with document management systems
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Previous experience in litigation support or legal administrative role is preferred
