We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant/ Paralegal to join our Family! 

We currently have a Full-Time position available.

Locations: Cedar Park HQ

Duties 

• Review of information and preparation of liens
• Responding to discovery
• Prepare affidavits, legal contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Ensuring that copies of documentation are properly filed and distributed.
• Schedule appointments, client meetings and calendaring court dates
• Creating and organizing appendices, briefs, indexes
• Coordinating and interacting with outside counsel
• Performing legal research
• Identifying and contacting experts who may help in a case.
• Taking minutes at company meetings
• Contract administration and organize and archiving documents related to company records in LinkSquares database; facilitate, save, track, and coordinate all contracts and eSignatures.
• Drafting of contracts
• Creating excel spreadsheets to track subpoenas, contracts, and any communications with outside counsel.
• Submitting claims through the Texas Department of Insurance and tracking claims 
• Assist the legal department’s Senior paralegal with day-to-day duties as assigned by paralegal.
• Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred
