Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our attorneys in various legal matters. Duties:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and briefs
- Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and other databases
- Organize and maintain case files, documents, and correspondence
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, and depositions
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather relevant information
- Assist with trial preparation and attend court proceedings
- Draft correspondence and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Manage document production and discovery processes
- Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry

Qualifications:
- Degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
- Previous experience working as a Paralegal or in a similar role is highly desirable
- Proficient in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
- Ability to conduct thorough legal research and analyze findings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
