Being a Paralegal drafts and edits legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, motions, and contracts. Conducts fact-finding, data collection, and analysis used to prepare statements and arguments. Additionally, Paralegal assists attorneys with depositions, interviews, discovery, and investigations. Manages, organizes, and archives documents with software tools and technology. Applies specialized legal terminology appropriately in documents. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Paralegal Certification. Typically reports to an attorney. The Paralegal work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. To be a Paralegal typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience. JOB SUMMARY:
Incumbent serves as a Paralegal responsible for performing various pretrial and trial preparation duties, preparing case pleadings. This position will also be responsible for assistance providing tactical, operational, and strategic analysis of criminal activity and will be responsible for mobile forensic extractions, analysis of records, mapping of phone records, creating diagrams, etc.
