Utilizes a variety of sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, and legal codes to research and analyze legal topics. Being a Paralegal drafts and edits legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, motions, and contracts. Conducts fact-finding, data collection, and analysis used to prepare statements and arguments. Additionally, Paralegal assists attorneys with depositions, interviews, discovery, and investigations. Manages, organizes, and archives documents with software tools and technology. Applies specialized legal terminology appropriately in documents. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Paralegal Certification. Typically reports to an attorney. The Paralegal work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. To be a Paralegal typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience.     Seeking a full-time Paralegal Manager/Senior Paralegal with good knowledge of supervising/managing who will handle human resources with paralegal skills knows how to pull a client statement and has experience on the billing side of a case management system.

    Paralegal Manager/Office Manager Paralegal must have a strong work ethic, organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask and communicate effectively with others.

    Paralegal Manager/Office Manager Paralegal Job Details:
    • Must have experience in the legal field as a paralegal with management or supervisory experience.
    • Manage employee's time worked and PTO and oversee/manage the office staff as part of human resources responsibilities.
    • Knowledge of bookkeeping, running billing, cutting checks, payroll, backup bookkeeper
    • Maintain filing systems for open/closed matters.
    • Help with projects as well as assisting the attorneys.
    • Must be able to handle Human Resources and you will manage staff, maintain relationships with clients and vendors, and aid legal assistants as needed.
    • Must be tech-savvy, ability to use video calling, know case management software, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, cloud-based programs, etc.
    • Oversee and manage the daily operations of a law office.
    • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and hearings.
    • Maintain and update calendars for attorneys and paralegals.
    • Coordinate with clients for payments/retainers and update QuickBooks.
    • Manage the reception area, including answering phone calls and directing inquiries.
    • Supervise and train office staff, providing guidance and support.
    • Handling PTO, hiring, terminations, reviews, onboarding, etc.
    • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
    • Manage client records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Utilize phone systems to handle incoming and outgoing calls efficiently.
    • Organize and maintain files, both electronic and physical.
    • Knows how to pull a client statement
    • Experience on the billing side of a case management system

    Paralegal Manager/Office Manager Paralegal Qualifications:
    • Proven experience in office management in a law office.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proficient in using QuickBooks
    • Knows how to pull a client statement, billing, cut checks, payroll, etc.
    • Experience on the billing side of a case management system
    • Knowledge of legal office management practices.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing a team.
    • Handling PTO, hiring, terminations, reviews, onboarding, etc.
    • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
