Paralegal assists and supports attorneys with research and document preparation for court proceedings and legal transactions. Utilizes a variety of sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, and legal codes to research and analyze legal topics. Being a Paralegal drafts and edits legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, motions, and contracts. Conducts fact-finding, data collection, and analysis used to prepare statements and arguments. Additionally, Paralegal assists attorneys with depositions, interviews, discovery, and investigations. Manages, organizes, and archives documents with software tools and technology. Applies specialized legal terminology appropriately in documents. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Paralegal Certification. Typically reports to an attorney. The Paralegal work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. To be a Paralegal typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience. Our client, a very well established law firm in Modesto, is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experienced Paralegal for immediate INDEFINITE TEMPORARY OPPORTUNITY!
BILINGUAL SPANISH A MUST!!!!
SALARY: $28.00 TO $33.00 / hr

LOCATION: Modesto. REMOTE / work from home arrangement might be considered for the right LOCAL candidate!
This would be a temporary position for specific projects on an hourly basis.
- Types of projects are as follows:
- Medical record reviews with summary
- Medical billing review with summary of charges, payments, and balance owing
- Draft mediation briefs
- Draft outlines for mediation hearings
- Bilingual / Fluency in Spanish a MUST!
Seeking individual with Litigation experience and preferably Personal Injury experience, including reviewing and understanding medical records.
